How Tai Chi & Qi Gong Benefit Our Brain:

Saturday, May 16, 2026, 8 AM to 9:30 AM

Many people worldwide practice Tai Chi, Qi Gong, or both. Some people continue their practice, but others don’t.  Understanding the benefits for the brain may make your practice consistent and effective. This online workshop will provide information to help you understand the essence of Qi Gong and Tai Chi, especially as they relate to the brain. Participants will also learn other brain-boosting exercises.

The recording will be sent to participants.

“Hello Dr. Kuhn,

I just wanted to express my appreciation for today’s session.

I really enjoyed it, especially the second half.

I could certainly feel the difference. I suffer from diverticulitis and have done for many years but my digestive system has felt very calm since those exercises.

Thank you.

Alex U, from UK”

“Thank you Dr Kuhn for your words of wisdom from the Brain Health webinar.  I want to introduce myself and say that I've read most of your books. I've been practicing and following your therapeutic qigong book for a couple of years now. I have your Brain fitness and your autobiography books as well. You are an inspiration. Last year I broke my hip in an unfortunate accident. I continued doing qigong along with my physical therapy exercises, and the qigong helped me through my recovery. I just want to thank you for your books and the webinar.

Regards,

Donna S. from CO, US”

“That was an enlightening discussion today and wonderful exercises. I just played the finger to thumb exercise with my husband. He's recovering from open heart surgery - 1 month out of hospital and already walking around the neighborhood, slowly and with measured steps, but it's really helping. I told him your emphasis on focus, concentration, balance and less speed....

I need to get him practicing Qi Gong with me. It will help enormously.

Incidentally, his daughter (in her 50's) was recently diagnosed with MS. I told her about your Total Body Workout/Tune Up (15 movements) and sent her a link on You Tube. She's practicing it, can do most of the movements and tells me it makes her feel better.

Jennifer, N, from MA”

“Hi Dr. Kuhn,

It was very nice to see you again also!

I really enjoyed the class a lot and feel like I got a lot out of your presentation.

You are very generous to offer the lecture notes and a movement video.

Thank you very much for everything!

Best regards,

Mike C. from MA”

Hello Dr Kuhn,

I would like to thank you for the Qi Gong & Tai Chi class, and for sharing your knowledge, skills and wisdom with us over the past 8 weeks!

I could not have been any happier with it and could not wish for a better teacher. The joy, enthusiasm and positivity and that you show is very

contagious in a good kind of way. :)

I feel like I now have a really great start in beginner level foundational skills and am very motivated to continue learning.

Best regards,

Hi Dr. Kuhn!

Happy New Year!  And thank you for all of your wonderful teaching of Tai Chi and Qi Gong Instructors Training that I participated in last year!  I'm excited to continue teaching in my small community and wanted to share how much I appreciate you as we move into the new year!

Also, the Dao meeting group is very sweet and it has helped me to use the Dao more as a practice in my life!  Thank you!

And, I just signed up for your zoom Tai Chi/Qi Gong class to continue learning with you!  I look forward to seeing you soon!

New Year Blessings & Gratitude to you,

Hello Dr Kuhn,

Just wanted to thank you one more time for the Tai Chi-Qigong class.

I enjoyed it very much and feel very fortunate to have such a great teacher.

It feels good to finally know all of the 24 forms.

I slowly went through them today and it seemed very relaxing.

I hope to keep refining on it and will continue to review the class video's.

Looking forward to attending the Tai Chi Walk class next week.

Best regards,

Mike
